We’ve spun two tried-and-true brunch classics into new favourites featuring Lighthouse Lemonade and Northern Temple vodka. Have you two met? Northern Temple vodka is made with 100% Ontario apples, making it crisp and smooth – we think you’ll be best friends.
Savoury Spring Caesar
As warmer weather finally arrives in Canada, we can’t wait to come out of hibernation. So let’s celebrate the arrival of spring with a boozy brunch on the patio! Canada’s national drink tastes even better when the ingredients are made in Ontario. We make our lemonade in Fergus, which means we’re neighbours with Northern Temple vodka, made by Nickel 9 Distillery in Toronto. If you want to get extra fancy, mix celery salt and sea salt on a small plate to rim your highball glass. This drink is typically mixed, poured over ice, then seasoned and garnished to the drinker’s liking.
Sweet Spring Mimosa
Meet the vodka mimosa, aka the perfect excuse to drink a screwball before noon. This slightly stronger version of the brunch staple is complemented by Northern Temple vodka’s orchard aromas. Even simpler than the Caesar, just mix the ingredients and pour into a champagne flute. Cheers!
Much as we love a spiked beverage, we also like catering to everyone. If you need, these drinks can both be made virgin by leaving out the vodka and swapping sparkling wine for sparkling grape juice.
